STV received award for creating DTO standards

The leading Russian DTO-operator STV was awarded a special diploma at the X Conference of cable television operators, held in the Yaroslavl region. The event was organized by the association “MAKATEL”, which unites TV providers from all over Russia, from Kaliningrad to the Far East. Leading industry experts noted the work of STV in "creating and maintaining standards for the DTO in the Russian market."

For three days, industry representatives discussed modern trends and current situation on the Russian television and radio broadcasting market. In particular, there was a lively discussion on the interaction of cable operators and TV channels - one of the key competencies of STV. Awarding the company against this background has become a real recognition not only of efficiency, but also of the relevance of its work for the Russian market.

“It is always nice to receive awards, but the most valuable of them are those awarded by colleagues and industry experts,” commented commercial director of the operator Nikita Saltanov. “These people understand what your work really is worth, what you have achieved.” On behalf of STV, I want to thank the professional community for the high appreciation of our work”.

Association “MAKATEL” was created in March 2009 by cable operators to protect common interests and teamwork with television companies, content providers and equipment suppliers. The Association’s activities are primarily aimed at supporting regional telecom operators providing cable television services and Internet access.
